按照试题要求，该部分大致有以下几方面内容。
对划线部分提问
做这类题目时应注意两点：时态不变和正确使用提问词
例如：1.He lost the key to his bike on his way to the lecture1.(划线提问)
What did he lose on his way to the lecture.(2004年中考题)
注：原句中lost是过去时，所以应用过去时提问。
2.The studentsprojects will be on show in three days.(划线提问)
注：in+一段时间表示从现在往后算，意为之后。提问词应用Howsoon.
How soon will the studentsprojects be on show(2006年中考题)。
改为感叹句
感叹句分为两种：一种以What引导，一种以How引导。
What引导的感叹句根据名词的不同情况可分为三种：
1.What+a∕an+形容词+名词单数+陈述句!(陈述句可省)
2.What+形容词+名词复数+陈述句!
3.What+形容词+不可数名词+陈述句!
例：1.What an honest girl she is!
2.What beautiful flowers these are!
3.What fine weather it is!
How引导的感叹句句型为：How+形容词或副词+陈述句!
例：1.How interesting the story is!
2.How fast the boy runs!

改为一般疑问句、否定句或简单句
做此类题时，同学们要注意原句中的人称(遇到第三人称单数时应正确使用相应的助动词，时态不变)。
例：Sam often does his home-work after lunch.(改为否定句)
Sam doesnt do his homework afterlunch.
常见错误有：Sam does not his homework after lunch.
记住：does not后须跟动词原形才能构成谓语。
改为反意疑问句
在陈述句后加上一个意思与之相反的简短问句，就是反意疑问句。
因此反意疑问句必须由意思相反的两部分组成。也就是我们平时常说的：前肯后否或前否后肯。
例：1.Tom didnt take part in the after-school activity yesterday.(改为反意疑问句)
Tom didnt take part in the after-school activity yesterday,did he(2006年中考试题)
2.That was a wonderful night.(改为反意疑问句)
That was a wonderful night,wasntit
注：陈述部分如有表示否定意思的某些词，如：never,little,few,hardly等等，疑问部分须用肯定式。

3).Very few people understand what he said,do they
保持句意基本不变
这是考核学生能否正确运用不同的词汇、词组、结构及句型表示相同意思的能力。这是很多学生比较害怕的一类题，往往会被卡住而无从下手，但观察近几年中考试题所选用的句型，一般都是些常见的、典型的句型，同学们不必多担心。但做这类题目时也要注意动词时态不能变。
例：1).Laura spent one week finishing reading3 the book Harry4 Potter.(保持句意不变)
It took Laura one week to finish reading the book Harry Potter.(2006年中考试题)
2).He didnt say anything at the meeting.(保持句意不变)
He said nothing at the meeting.
3).You are very kind to come and tell meall this.(保持句意不变)
Its very kind of you to come and tell meall this.
4).Put on your coat,or youll catch a cold.(保持句意不变)
If you dont put on your coat,youll catch a cold.
5).Nobody else in his class can speak English as fluently5 ashe.(保持句意不变)
