  Pre-reading教师引导学生关注文章的题目与插图,对即将阅读内容进行预测。

  Ÿ How do you understand the title?

  Ÿ What can you see in these two pictures?引导学生关注文章题目与插图,预测文章内容,为阅读做好准备。

  While-reading1. 学生首次阅读文章,验证预测,并回答以下三个问题:

  Ÿ What is the passage about?

  Ÿ What kind of text is it?

  Ÿ How are the events in the passage arranged?引导学生通过关注文章类型及写作手法,以获取文章主旨。

  2. 学生再次阅读文章,梳理林巧稚故事的时间轴。

  3. 学生根据时间轴,整理关于林巧稚人生中的重大事件,并填写表格。

  Ÿ Read the passage again more carefully and take notes of all the important events happened to Lin Qiaozhi.

  4. 引导学生关注所整理信息中的林巧稚的重大人生抉择,并思考她为此做出了哪些牺牲。

  Ÿ What hard choices was she faced with throughout her life? Underline the sentences.

  Ÿ What did she sacrifice for those choices?

  Ÿ What does the author want to illustrate by mentioning Dr. Lin’s life choices?引导学生通过获取文章中有关林巧稚重大人生抉择的事实性信息,推断出她做出了哪些牺牲。

  5. 学生根据在文中获取的事实性信息,推断林巧稚的人生准则。

  Ÿ What was the main principle guiding Dr. Lin through the choices in her life?
