  教学目标

  Knowledge Objectives:

  1. Ss are able to understand the dialogue and answer the related questions with the help of teacher and pictures.

  2. Ss are able to read the dialogue and try to do role-play in the correct pronunciation and intonation according to the sense-group.

  3. Ss are able to read and talk with each other use the sentence pattern: “What can you do for…? —I can … ”.

  4. Ss are able understand the meaning of new phrases: “draw pictures” “have an English party” “sing English songs” “do some kung fu”.

  Ability Objectives:

  1. Train Ss’ abilities to read a dialogue in the correct pronunciation and intonation according to the sense-group.

  2. Train Ss’ abilities to understand and use the sentence pattern: “What can you do for…? —I can … ” to make a dialogue.

  Emotion Objectives:

  1. Improve students’ learning interests.

  2. Encourage students to participate in class activities actively.

  教学重点The sentence pattern: “What can you do for the party? —I can … ”.

  教学难点New words: “sing English songs” “do some kung fu”.

  Sentence: “We’ll have an English party next Tuesday.” “Wonderful!”

  Step1:

  1. Enjoy a song

  What can you do?

  2. Daily greeting

  T: Good morning, boys and girls!

  T: Nice to meet you!

  T: I’m glad to be your teacher today. I hope you’ll enjoy my lesson.

  Teacher and Ss enjoy and try to follow the song together.

  What can you do? 这首歌内容涉及本课重点句型,为本课内容的学习做铺垫,同时可以活跃课堂气氛。

  师生日常问好,教师引导学生积极参与课堂活动,为后阶段教学目标的完成做准备。。

  Step2:Presentation

  新知呈现

  About me!

  1. Ss ask questions about the teacher.

  --What’s your name? --My name is Fiona.

  --Where are you from? --I’m from Sankou primary school.

  --What do you often do? --I often cook.

  --What can you do? --I can sing English songs.

  2. T introduces herself and something about her school life.

  (1) We’ll have an English party next Tuesday.

  Today--next Thursday--this Tuesday--next Tuesday

  We’ll = We will(将要)

  (2) Ask and answer questions about the things Ss can do for party.

  F: What can you do for the party?

  S: I can draw pictures.

  Extension: I can draw a fish/ a dog/ a bear/ an elephant.

  C: I can sing English songs.

  Extension: I can sing Chinese songs.

  G: I can do some kung fu.

  Extension: Kung fu panda/ Chen Long/ Zhou Xingchi can do some kung fu.

  3. Pair-work

  Ss try to use the main sentence pattern: “What can you do? —I can ____.” to make a short dialogue.

  Let’s try

  Before listening: Ss look at the pictures and try to guess what Mike can do for the party.

  While listening:

  Ss listen to the dialogue and try to answer the questions.

  What can Mike do for the party?

  After listening: Ss try to read the dialogue together.

  Let’s talk

  (1) Ss watch the video and answer the related questions.

  What can Zhang Peng do for the party?

  What can John do for the party?

  (2) Ss listen to the tape and try to read the dialogue in correct pronunciation and intonation according to the sense-group.

  Ss review some sentences they have learned before. At the same time help Ss get a brief idea about the new sentence pattern.

  通过向老师提问,帮助学生复习巩固已学句型,同时引入本课核心新句型。

  帮助学生理解掌握next Tuesday以及we’ll的意思。

  通过教师介绍学校下周二将要开英语派对,帮助学生巩固本课重点句型。并在问答中解决部分难点词组及句型,如draw pictures, sing English songs, so some kung fu. Wonderful! 让学生在真实的语境中操练句型。同时,对难点词汇进行拓展训练,帮助学生更好地理解掌握其意义与用法。

  让学生通过对话练习来巩固操练将来时句型的用法。

  Ss answer the questions. At the same time Ss should be able to understand the meaning of the dialogue.

  通过听前、听中、听后不同梯度的训练,帮助学生提高听音能力。

  通过回答对话内容相关问题,在答案寻找、呈现的过程中帮助学生更好地理解对话大意,并在问答过程中操练本课时重点的句型。

  训练学生按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话。

  Step3:Practice& Extension

  操练和拓展

  1. Role play

  Ss try to act like Miss White, Zhang Peng and John, fill in the missing sentences and read the dialogue.

  2. Make a dialogue

  Ss try to make a dialogue using the main sentence pattern.

  3. Summarize

  角色扮演,训练学生的朗读能力的同时,帮助学生更好地理解记忆对话。

  对话练习,正好结合教师生日的契机,让学生在尽可能真实的语境中操练本课时重点句型的用法。使语言学习,尤其是对话课的学习更有意义、更真实。

  对本课重点内容做简单总结。

  Homework作业设计

  1. Read the dialogue in P38. (读一读课本38页的对话。)

  2. Finish the tasks in your workbook. (完成作业本相关练习。)

  3. Talk about “what you can do” with your friends.

  (和你的朋友一起聊一聊能做的事情。)

  2. Develop ss’ abilities of listening and speaking, make sure that they can use the patterns well in daily life.

  3. To cultivate students’ to love their school and proper competition, and arouse Ss learning interest.

  Key Points Pay more attention to the pronunciation of the new words and patterns , try to command them well.

  Difficult Points Ask Ss to make new small dialogues with the new patterns and act them out. Make sure that they can use them well in a real situation in daily life.

  2. Listen to the tape, first just listen, then repeat follow the tape-recorder, at last, read together, try to recite.

  3. Practice the text in groups, ask Ss to make a new dialogue with the new drills, try to act.

  4. Sum up the main points.

  Homework

  1. 6 steps of Lesson 1.

  2. Write the new words for 4 times.

  Warmly welcome can arouse the ss’ attention at the beginning of the new term.

  Get to know the the rules clearly .To encourage the ss to be good in the new term.

  Free talk to arouse their attention for the new content of the text..

  To present the new words one by one is much easier for Ss to command them freely.

  It can increase Ss’ activity of learning, and make a good effect for mastering the new words and sentences.

  Group work here helps Ss to develop their abilities of communication and co-operation.

  This part can give Ss pure English, and it helps Ss to enhance their basic knowledge and basic abilities.

  Give Ss chance to use the drills in real situation, and increase their multiple ability.
