As is known to all, waste on campus has becomea more and more serious problem. We can easily seemany students dump a lot of food in the garbagecan. Some students spend thousands of yuanbuying fashionable clothes and so on.The negativeeffects of waste can be shown in the followingaspects. In the first place, it makes some studentsdependent on their parents for money, which isharmful to their development. If they dont learn tosupport themselves, they will be useless peoplewhen they graduate.
In the second place, it is not easy for our parents to arrange for our schooling. Last butnot the least important, there is no denying the fact that our country is still poor. There aremany people who cannot go to university and many poor people still need our help. As far as iam concerned, i should set a good example to reduce waste on campus. First of all, i willrefrain from wasting anything, from food to stationery. Whats more, im determined to callon more schoolmates to fight against waste.

Every individual faces the problem of choosing anoccupation after graduating from university, whichis of great importance in ones whole life. Anappropriate occupation makes a man work withvigor and zest. Besides, it is beneficial for both theindividual and the country.
To make an advisable choice, a graduate shouldtake into account at least two aspects, namely, individual interest and the demand of thesociety. Only when the two aspects are connected, can a man show his ability and talent to thebest advantage. If the two factors conflict, the former, in most cases, should give way to thelatter, for it is interests that stimulate ones vigor and potentials.
In regard to my choice in the future, I want to work as an interpreter. I am keen onlearning foreign languages, English in particular. They wanted us to know that money is valuable, and that hard work is even morevaluable. Finally, they wanted us tounderstand that work and money are related: you cannot have one without the other.
I think there are two things parents need to do to help their children understand the valueof money. First, they should make their children earn their spending money, which will make thechildren consider the money precious. Second, they should not always stop their children fromdoing foolish things with their money. Making some mistakes will teach the children to be wise.

As far as I am concerned, I favor the latter. Firstly, as different people have different personalities, and if we please everybody, we will become very tired.
